Privacy policy
In short: we collect the details we need to find work for tradies and supply workers to our clients. We only share a worker's details with a client when the worker has agreed to it. We don't sell anyone's information, and you can ask to see or correct what we hold about you at any time.
Who we are
Munster Workforce Pty Ltd (ABN 28 665 997 848) supplies operators, labourers and carpenters to civil and construction businesses in Sydney, New South Wales. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Munster Workforce. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) when we handle personal information.
What we collect
From workers and job seekers, we may collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and suburb
- your trade, tickets, licences and VOCs (for example White Card, high-risk work licences and machine VOCs)
- your work history, experience and referees
- your availability and rate expectations
- if you work for us: your date of birth, address, emergency contact, right-to-work details, tax file number, bank account and super fund details
- notes about your placements, including feedback from clients and any safety incidents
From clients, we collect the names, phone numbers and email addresses of your contacts, your company details, and details of the sites and jobs you need workers for.
From our website, we collect whatever you enter into our forms. If we add website analytics, we will update this policy to say so.
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you: through our website forms, by phone, text or email, in person, and in your induction paperwork. With your agreement, we may also contact your referees, check your tickets and licences with the bodies that issue them, and get feedback from the clients you work for.
Why we collect it
- to match workers with suitable jobs and put them forward to clients
- to check that workers hold the tickets, licences and experience a job needs
- to respond to client requests and manage placements
- to pay workers and meet our tax, super, workers compensation and work health and safety obligations
- to keep in touch about upcoming work
Who we share it with
- Our clients. We only send a worker's details to a client after the worker has agreed to be put forward for that job. We share only what the client needs, such as your name, trade, tickets and experience.
- Referees and licensing bodies, to check your references and tickets.
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our accountant, payroll, email and file storage providers.
- Insurers, including our workers compensation insurer if there is an injury or claim.
- Government agencies when the law requires it, such as the ATO or SafeWork NSW.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for anyone else's marketing.
